Why this exists
OverpayingForAI is an independent pricing desk. Catalogue prices, comparisons, and the calculator stay free. Keeping that work current costs research time, hosting, and model credits. A short-term contribution or a Claude referral helps the desk stay independent without putting a meter on the public pages.
Ways to help
- Claude referral. If Claude is already a fit, use the referral on this page. That path earns usage credits for the desk. It is marked sponsored and it does not change rankings. See the affiliate disclosure.
- Replit referral. If a browser IDE plus hosting is the job, use the Replit referral. That path is marked sponsored. Official Replit pricing citations stay as plain links.
- Card contribution via Stripe. Until Stripe is connected, the live ways to help are the Claude and Replit referrals.

Not a membership and not a faster desk. Paid extras would turn this into a product, and they would not make the public numbers more honest.
