Can AI systems understand your website?

Most sites are built for people and search engines. This checks whether the machines now summarising the web can actually read yours — and shows you what to fix first.

What this tool checks

Crawlability and rendering
Whether your content exists in the HTML a crawler receives, or only appears after JavaScript runs. Plus robots.txt rules, sitemap validity and redirect behaviour.
Structured data
Whether you publish valid JSON-LD, whether it declares Organization and WebSite, and whether the Organization record is complete enough to identify you.
Metadata and identity
Title, description, canonical, Open Graph tags and favicon — the fields that decide how your site is summarised everywhere it is referenced.
Content accessibility
Heading structure, the ratio of readable text to markup, and whether you publish an llms.txt summary.
Brand recognition signal
How one named AI model describes your brand, and whether that matches how you describe yourself. Labelled with the exact model and run date.

Questions people ask

What does this AI visibility checker actually test?
It fetches your homepage, robots.txt, sitemap and llms.txt, then checks whether your content is present in the raw HTML, whether crawlers are allowed in, whether you publish structured data, and whether your metadata and heading structure are machine-readable. It also asks one AI model to describe your brand and compares that with your own description.
Does this tell me how ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini see my site?
No, and any tool claiming that is overstating what it can know. The crawlability and structured-data checks are objective facts about your site. The brand section reflects one specific model, named in the report along with the date it ran. It is a signal, not a survey of every AI assistant.
Is a low score a problem if I deliberately block AI crawlers?
Not necessarily. Blocking GPTBot, ClaudeBot or Google-Extended is a legitimate choice, and the report flags it neutrally rather than treating it as a mistake. Read the crawlability section as information about a trade-off you have already made.
How often can I run an audit?
Reports are cached for seven days per domain, so re-running the same site returns the cached result instantly. Fresh audits are limited to five per hour per visitor, which keeps the tool free to run.
