Choose one of three real tasks (a meal plan, a confusing letter, or a to-do list) and finish it in the Try it box. Each one is set up so it works first time.
In this lesson you will
→Complete one everyday task from start to finish with AI
→See how a small instruction about format changes the answer
→Leave with something you can actually use
You now know how to give a task and how to ask for a change. This lesson is practice with a purpose: pick the one below that is closest to something you need, run it, and improve it once. You do not need to do all three, though you can.
Three tasks, each showing one thing AI does well.
Task
What it shows you
Follow-up to try afterwards
A five-night dinner plan from what is in the fridge
Turning a list into a plan
"Swap Wednesday for something vegetarian"
A confusing letter, explained plainly
Rephrasing without inventing
"What should I actually do about this?"
Scattered notes into a prioritised to-do list
Adding structure to mess
"Which two could I drop without much harm?"

You want the to-do list back as a short numbered list, but the model wrote three paragraphs. What was missing from your prompt?
Lesson FAQ
▸Do I need to do all three tasks?
No. One is enough to get the point. Pick the one closest to something you actually need this week, so you finish the lesson with something useful.
▸Can I use my own notes instead of the sample ones?
Yes. Every box is editable. Replace the sample notes with your own and keep the instructions at the top. If you are on a shared computer, avoid pasting anything private.
▸The answer was fine but a bit generic. Is that normal?
Yes, and it is fixable. Add one specific constraint ("no more than 30 minutes cooking", "I do not eat fish") and run it again. Specific instructions produce specific answers.
